Saturday Competitions

Adjudicators: Matthew MacLennan, John Burns, Djordje Gajic and Iain Anderson
Competitions start in the Salutation Hotel and St. John’s Episcopal Church & Hall at 9.00am. Come along and listen to the competitions and enjoy the wonderful music. An all-day ticket, which can be purchased on the day at the Salutation Hotel will cost £10.00. This also includes entrance to St. John’s Episcopal Church & Hall and the Grand Finale which takes place in the Moncrieffe Suite, Salutation Hotel. An excellent day out.
Reid’s Bar Accordion & Fiddle Club

Guest Artiste: Duncan Black and his Scottish Dance Band
The music session in the bar is one of the social highlights of the festival. This is an informal gathering, similar to that of an Accordion Club, where all musicians are welcome to participate. We will appoint a Host/Compere who will ensure that the music keeps flowing and that as many willing players as possible get the chance to perform. There will be a Guest Artiste to lead the proceedings.

Grand Finale Concert

The climax of the festival showcases the finest talent on the Accordion and Fiddle scene and this year we will be treated to some of our most well-known and respected musicians performing in this concert performance.

Traditional Fiddle Recital: Iain Anderson
Scottish Dance Band Recital: Iain MacPhail and his Scottish Dance Band
