The 64^th Festival will take place on Saturday, 5^th October 2013.

The festival is a major occasion in the national music calendar incorporating the official Scottish Accordion Championships for traditional music alongside fiddle competitions and a range of individual and group sections covering a variety of musical styles. In past years the festival has seen hundreds of participants converge on the city of Perth from all over the UK.

Events Include:

• Friday night welcome ceilidh dance
• Saturday competitions & championships including traditional & classical accordion sections, fiddles, bands, trios
• Late Saturday afternoon Grand Finale featuring results of Senior Scottish Championship and performances by some of the nation's leading musicians
• Informal sessions throughout the day
• Saturday night final dance (run by Perth and District Accordion & Fiddle Club)

Based in Perth's famous Salutation Hotel (special room rates available for festival-goers - contact hotel) and nearby halls. The location of these venues can be seen here.
